Design

This is the original schematic I drew in ninth grade, it was based off of a common 12AX7/6V6 design that was used in guitar amplifiers:

Later, I removed the messy resistive voltage divider (bottom right) and just ran the tubes on a higher voltage.

The reason that the two triodes in the 8FQ7 envelope are paralleled is because I didn’t see any harm it when I designed the circuit. However, it would probably be wiser not to parallel them and to instead use each triode separately in a stereo amplifier.
